My Easy Shabbos Salad Dressing:

This is a kind of Italian vinaigrette which I sort-of adapted from frustration when I learned how much oil is usually in bottled salad dressings and in most salad dressing recipes.  It is my brothers’ favorite dressing and they are very upset if I change anything about it or try anything different. [Males and their routines! ;)]

1 package "sweet and low" or 1-1/2 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp garlic powder

1 tsp olive oil

2 Tbsp apple cider or red wine vinegar

Stir all ingredients together and pour over salad.

In my opinion, Quinoa is one of the best things you can eat (and SO healthy)! So, I'm really excited to try this salad!  I think I'll add a handful of craisons and maybe some seeded cucumber...
