Pan Fried Cajun Chickpeas
I was so excited about this recipe, that I decided to post it! Seriously incredible blend of flavors - tastes like falafel and is super easy and delicious.
Pan Fried Cajun Chickpeas
Recipe Adapted from: Kosher Cooking for Ordinary People
1 can of chickpeas (Garbanzo beans)
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 heaping teaspoon kosher salt
Pan Fried Cajun Chickpeas

1 can of chickpeas (Garbanzo beans)
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 heaping teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoons olive oil
Drain chickpeas, fry in pan without oil until dry.
Mix together spices, add and mix with dry chickpeas.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and then shallow fry the beans until crisp. Eat warm or hah! - store in a ziplock bag. (There won't be any leftovers, trust me!)
